OpenCode is an open-source AI coding assistant with native MCP support.

Local Server (Recommended)

Add Fizzy Do to your opencode.json:

OpenCode-Specific Format

OpenCode's MCP configuration differs from other editors:

• Uses mcp key (not mcpServers)
• Uses command as an array (not separate command and args)
• Requires type: "local" or type: "remote"
• Uses environment (not env)

"Unknown type: stdio"

Use type: "local" instead of type: "stdio":

Config not loading

1. Verify JSON syntax at jsonlint.com
2. Check file is named opencode.json (not config.toml)
3. Ensure the $schema line is included for validation
4. Restart OpenCode completely
